All tribes and peoples and languages: an intercultural church?
In recent months, we have witnessed unrest on our streets. People call it social, political, cultural or sometimes racial unrest. Some politicians tell us that multiculturalism has failed in the UK. What about the churches? Can our cultures simply coexist in a multicultural church, or should we be more intentional in becoming an intercultural church? Is Revelation 7:9 a far-fetched idea that we can only dream about?
Justin Gill will help us explore the challenges for churches and their leadership in post-Christian Britain. Justin serves with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) primarily as an IT manager, but also advising on cross-cultural mission and matters of multi/inter-cultural churches. He regularly travels to Pakistan to support the Association of Evangelical Churches (AEC). His primary objective is to train young church leaders, evangelists, and Christian youth leaders for life and ministry.
Iron Sharpens Iron is all about sharpening up as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We are inspired by Proverbs 27:17,
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Each event starts at 8pm when our guest is interviewed or presents a short talk, after which we have time for discussion. We want everyone to ask questions. We encourage heated debate in Christian spirit! We want to learn from each other so we can bear fruit for Jesus Christ, the Lord of heaven and earth. Join at 7.50pm to chat with other participants.
