Speaking faithfully about God If the whole creation, including everything we can perceive, depends upon God, there is a profound mystery in how we can know God at all. Christian theology emphasizes that it’s only by entering into the created order as a human that God begins to reveal himself. How then should we speak about this God? Should we be content just to speak about Jesus, and avoid trying to name the divine altogether? What more could we faithfully say about the Creator and Sustainer of everything?
